Clasp the clamp onto the stroller handle.** For best results, have the plain knob on the outside, closest to you.
Tighten the star knob so that the clamp closes securely on the stroller handle.
Loosen the plain knob and angle the shaft in the direction that best protects you from the rain. Make sure it clicks into place.
Tighten the plain knob so that the shaft is securely in position.
Securing the Umbrella to the Clamp
Insert the stem of the umbrella into the opening at the top of the shaft.
Click the silver button on the stem of the umbrella into one of the four holes in the shaft. Select the hole that best suits your height.
If necessary, adjust the height of the stroller handles, if the umbrella rides too high.
Open the umbrella*** and embrace the rain™.
Stowing the Umbrella & Clamp on the Stroller
Click the umbrella into the lowest position — the 4th hole.
Close the umbrella and secure it with its attached strap.
Loosen the plain knob so that the shaft can turn down with the umbrella still intact. It can be stowed either straight down or on a diagonal.
Your umbrella can be stowed here until needed in the future. Or, simply take the umbrella out of the clamp and store it in a safe place.
*Enclosed is a non-slip strip for use with plastic or smooth stroller handles. Attach strip to the inside of the clamp before securing the clamp to the handle.
**Note that the teeth on the inside of the clamp may leave markings/indentations on your stroller handle. Please be careful when removing the clamp from the stroller handle so that you do not inadvertently puncture the handle. For best results, store the clamp on the stroller handle at all times.
***The tips of the ribs of the umbrella are designed to release from their caps, when under stress, so that the ribs will not break. Simply reinsert the tips back into their corresponding caps.
